From the Imagination of Steven Clinton…

The Bubble Society

Life in Kingston is perfect; the Knowledge of the times allow all sentient beings to be healthy, well-fed, and happy. Nothing bad ever happens, and everyone lives to one hundred.

The exception is Gavin Owens, who appears utterly incapable of getting with the program. Then again, for a people that survived so much hardship to create this utopia, it is a relief that the antics of one young man are one of the biggest problems facing The Bubble Society.

But is that really the case? Find out in The Bubble Society.

The Legend of Tucker Wilson

Tucker Wilson does not know his birthday. He never met his parents, and has no idea where he was born. He goes by Tucker Wilson, but one of the only things he knows is that is not his real name.

His mysterious background is not half as strange as what goes on in Tucker Wilson’s world. All around him, strange things happen. Wounds are miraculously healed. People are inexplicably burned. And though Tucker is aware he is the cause of these bizarre events, he has no explanation for why he can make them happen.

All of that begins to change when Tucker thwarts an attempted shooting at his middle school, setting in motion a chain of events that forces him to flee his home and leads him to a world he could never have imagined.

Author’s Note: This was my first effort as a fiction writer and it is certainly derivative of the Harry Potter series; that said, it takes on a life of its own in Book 2, and by Book 3, you start to see hints of the “dystopian epic” style I currently employ in The Bubble Society.
